These clever little clocks with swinging, matching pendulums are made in an artist's studio, by artists! Savell Studio started designing these, back in 2000, and the only place you could get 'em was at an art show. Now, you can get 'em, right here online! These happy and bright images are prints of Debra Savell's original artwork. They look like a glazed ceramic tile. The base is a remarkable, lightweight, non-wood material, which is almost indestructable. Top quality quartz, pendulum (time only) movements are installed, and we offer a limited warranty. These are really good movements, average life is ten years, gaining/loosing 7 seconds a year, if any. These have a large hanger on the back and are easy to hang...just need a nail and a wall. Runs on one "AA" battery, of which we include. Average battery life is about one battery a year, though we've had numerous customers who claim they've not changed the battery for over a year! Wow!
The overall size is approximately 5-6 inches wide, by about 11 to 14 inches long. The face of the clock is either 5"x 7"or 6"x 6",(check your exact listing's size). The pendulums are all different lengths, and are all hand cut, so lengths will vary, slightly. Some styles are longer than others, because of their unique design.
Each clock is durable and suitable for hanging in any room. They're great in kitchens, steamy bathrooms, and lanais, as long as it is covered by a roof! Children and adults, of all ages, love these, really cool Art Clocks.
Please, remember...these cute, conversation piece clocks are all handmade in America. These are not commercially manufactured, nor machine made, so...even though each is alike, each is different. The hour and minute hands are individually, hand painted, and each pendulum is hand cut, so slight variations will occur. The photo doesn't do it justice! The surface is very glossy, and the photo picks up glare. Different monitors show different shades of the true colors. Also, the © COPYRIGHT NOTICE is not on the actual clock, just in the photo...sorry, but this wording on photo is necessary.
